The Kgalagadi park is drastically different from other parks because with the red sand dunes and sparse vegetation, there are lots of animals to spot. The openness of the land makes it able to see miles deep and easily spot animals. Also, with the lack of tall grass animals are very easy to spot and snap a picture of. When there are summer thunderstorms you can see a beautiful backdrop to the flat land. Kgalagadi has lots open space, so photographers can snap pictures of lions catching their food or springbok walking around the plains. I encourage coming to visit the animals at Kgalagadi because with the beautiful animals it is a very unforgettable trip to drive up the very difficult gravel roads.
