DUPR will serve as the primary reference for player classification. This is only applicable to all DUPR rated Categories.
A player's DUPR Reliability Score must be at least 80% for their rating to be considered sufficiently established for tournament classification.
Players with a DUPR Reliability Score below 80% will be assigned a provisional ENJOY Tournament rating of 3.0, subject to review by the Tournament Manager.
No DUPR/ Unrated: Assigned 3.0 DUPR, subject to review by the Tournament Manager.
The provisional 3.0 rating applies only to ENJOY Tournament classification and does not change the player's official DUPR rating.
Because DUPR ratings in the Bicol Region are still developing, the Tournament Manager may also review a player's competitive and tournament history from the previous six (6) months.
This may include tournament results, divisions entered, placements, DUPR match history, results against known-rated players, and other relevant competitive information.
The Tournament Manager shall make the final eligibility determination.
Tournament matches designated for DUPR submission will be recorded and submitted to DUPR.
Every participant must have an active DUPR account and provide accurate account information during registration.
To provide a clear and consistent method of determining eligibility for Combined DUPR-Based Categories, ENJOY Pickleball Tournament will apply the following calculation:
The current DUPR rating of both players will be used during eligibility verification.
Both players' actual DUPR ratings will first be added together using the full displayed decimal values.
The resulting Combined DUPR will then be truncated to one decimal place for tournament classification.
Truncation means the digits after the first decimal place are removed without rounding up.
Any Maximum Individual DUPR requirement specified for the category will still apply separately.
Player 1: 3.489
Player 2: 3.108
Actual Combined DUPR: 6.597
Tournament Classification: 6.5
✅ ELIGIBLE for the 6.5 Combined DUPR Category
3.450 + 3.149 = 6.599 → 6.5 — ELIGIBLE
3.500 + 3.099 = 6.599 → 6.5 — ELIGIBLE
3.500 + 3.100 = 6.600 → 6.6 — NOT ELIGIBLE for the 6.5 category
This calculation and classification method applies to ALL ENJOY Tournament Combined DUPR-Based Categories, including but not limited to 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, and other Combined DUPR categories that may be introduced.
For example:
6.0 Category: Actual combined rating of 6.000–6.099 → classified as 6.0
6.5 Category: Actual combined rating of 6.500–6.599 → classified as 6.5
7.0 Category: Actual combined rating of 7.000–7.099 → classified as 7.0
7.5 Category: Actual combined rating of 7.500–7.599 → classified as 7.5
8.0 Category: Actual combined rating of 8.000–8.099 → classified as 8.0
The Maximum Individual DUPR stated for each category remains applicable even if the team's Combined DUPR qualifies after truncation.
The DUPR ratings used for verification will be the players' current ratings at the official eligibility verification/cut-off determined by the ENJOY Tournament Committee.
All DUPR calculations, classifications, and eligibility verification decisions of the ENJOY Tournament Committee are final for the tournament.
Registration is considered complete only upon submission of all required information, full payment of the applicable registration fee, confirmation of playing partner, and verification of both players' DUPR/Reclub accounts.
Registration fees may vary depending on the tournament category and weekly event.
The official registration fee, including any Early Bird or promotional rate when applicable, will be indicated in the official tournament poster for each category every week.
Players are responsible for checking the applicable registration fee stated in the poster before submitting their registration and payment.
Registration fees are non-refundable, except when the tournament or category is cancelled by the organizer.
Submission of the registration form and payment does not automatically guarantee acceptance. A team's entry is considered officially confirmed only after verification and confirmation by the ENJOY Tournament Committee.
A minimum of 10 registered teams is required for the standard tournament format.
Depending on demand, venue capacity, court availability, and tournament operations, participation may be increased to approximately 12 to 20 teams.
If more than 10 teams participate, the Tournament Committee may adjust brackets, qualification structure, schedules, court assignments, and tournament format.
A Cash Prize will be awarded to the Champion Team of each tournament category.
The official prize pool for each category will be indicated and announced in its respective tournament poster. Prize amounts may vary depending on the category, number of confirmed entries, sponsorships, tournament expenses, and other operational considerations.
Participants are advised to refer to the official ENJOY Pickleball Tournament poster for their specific category for the applicable cash prize, vouchers, and other awards.
Any changes or adjustments to the announced prize pool will be officially communicated by the ENJOY Tournament Committee.

Head-to-Head Result
If a tie remains, the Tournament Committee will determine the final tie-break procedure.
The winning team must review and sign the official score sheet after every match.
Once signed, the recorded result is considered final, except for a verified administrative or recording error.
Match disputes should be raised with the referee or Tournament Director during the match whenever possible.
Once a match is completed and the official score sheet is signed, retrospective appeals regarding ordinary match calls will generally not be entertained.
To maintain proper match flow and ensure that both teams are ready before each rally, the following ENJOY Tournament service procedure will apply to all officiated matches.
Before serving, the server must wait for the umpire/referee to completely announce the score.
Once the umpire/referee has finished announcing the score, the server may begin the service.
After the umpire/referee has completely announced the score, the server has a maximum of 10 seconds to serve the ball.
If the server does not serve within the 10-second period:
FAULT
The referee's count/timekeeping shall determine whether the 10-second limit has been exceeded.
If the server serves while the umpire/referee is still announcing the score:
FAULT
Players must allow the umpire/referee to completely finish announcing the score before serving.
If the player serves before the umpire/referee begins announcing the score:
RE-SERVE
The rally will not count. The ball will be returned and the server must wait for the official score announcement before serving again.
Umpire/Referee announces the complete score → Server has up to 10 seconds → Serve
For clarity:
Serve BEFORE score is announced → RE-SERVE
Serve WHILE score is being announced → FAULT
Serve AFTER score is completely announced and within 10 seconds → LEGAL
Fail to serve within 10 seconds → FAULT
The umpire/referee's decision regarding the timing of the service shall be final for that rally.
Petitions concerning DUPR rating, reliability, tournament history, classification, identity, or eligibility must be submitted on or before the tournament date, preferably before the affected player's first match.
The Committee may approve or deny the petition or request additional evidence.
Petitions must be factual and respectful.
False, malicious, or harassing petitions may result in disciplinary action.
Partner replacements may be permitted before the team's first match, provided the replacement meets all eligibility requirements and is approved by the Tournament Manager.
Once a team has officially been defaulted, no replacement will be permitted for that match.
If an originally registered player misses the first match but becomes available later, the player may still participate in succeeding matches.
Players must check in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match.
Once a match is officially called, teams have a maximum 2-minute grace period to report and be ready.
Failure to report may result in a default/walkover.
