Geonhee (Gunhee) Cho

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Texas State University. Previously, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2021–2024). I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut in 2021 under the supervision of Damin Wu.

My research lies at the intersection of complex analysis, complex and differential geometry, probability and stochastic analysis, information geometry, and quantum computing. We study how geometry and probability produce reliable algorithms for complex and quantum systems.
