에니와 복음그리스도교회는 1989년, OMF와 치토세 복음그리스도교회의 기도와 협력 가운데 중고 사무실 겸 주택 건물을 구입하면서 시작되었습니다. 많은 분의 기도와 하나님의 은혜로운 돌보심 가운데 지금까지 지켜져 왔으며, 이제 곧 창립 40주년을 맞이하게 됩니다.

현재 교회 건물은 지어진 지 50년이 넘었습니다. 그동안 여러 차례 보수와 리모델링을 해 왔지만 노후화가 계속 진행되어, 해마다 적지 않은 수리 비용이 들고 있습니다. 또한 일본 정부가 정한 내진 기준을 충족하지 못하여, 불특정 다수의 사람이 모이는 집회 시설로서 요구되는 기준에도 미치지 못하는 상황입니다.

이에 본 교회는 2026년도 정기총회에서 “지금이 여호와를 찾을 때니”(호세아 10장 12절)라는 말씀에 따라, 새로운 교회당을 구하며 기도하기로 결의하였습니다. 이것은 단지 교회의 외적인 건물을 새롭게 세우는 것만을 뜻하지 않습니다. 동시에 영적인 공동체인 교회도 더욱 든든히 세워지기를 구하는 기도입니다.

에니와시와 그 주변 지역은 해마다 변화하고 있으며, 점점 더 많은 사람이 거주하고 오가는 지역이 되어 가고 있습니다. 이 땅에 그리스도의 향기가 더욱 가득하게 되도록 함께 기도해 주시기를 간절히 부탁드립니다.

Eniwa Evangelical Christ Church began in 1989 through the prayers and support of OMF and Chitose Evangelical Christ Church. At that time, a secondhand building that had served as both an office and a residence was purchased for use as our church. Sustained by God and upheld by the prayers of many people, we are now approaching our 40th anniversary.

Our present church building is now over fifty years old. Although it has undergone renovations over the years, it continues to deteriorate and requires costly repairs each year. Furthermore, because it does not meet the earthquake-resistance standards established by the Japanese government, it no longer satisfies the requirements for a public assembly facility where many people gather.

For this reason, at our 2026 Annual General Meeting, our church resolved to begin praying for a new church building, guided by the words, “It is time to seek the LORD” (Hosea 10:12). This prayer concerns more than simply constructing a new physical building. We are also praying that the church as a spiritual community will be built up and strengthened at the same time.

The area surrounding Eniwa is changing year by year and has become a place where an increasing number of people live, work, and pass through. We sincerely ask you to pray that the fragrance of Christ may fill this community more and more.

恵庭福音キリスト教会は1989年からOMFと千歳福音キリスト教会の祈りと協力の中、中古の事務所兼住居の建物を購入して始まりました。皆様の祈りの中、神様に支えられ、もうすぐ40周年を迎えます。 

現在、当教会の会堂は築50年を経て、途中リノベーションをしつつも老朽化が進み、毎年修繕費がかかるようになっています。また国が定める耐震強度不足により、不特定多数の人が集まる集会所としての基準を満たしていません。 このため当教会では、2026年度の年次総会において「今が主を求める時だ」(ホセア10章12節)により、新しい会堂を求めて祈ることを決議しました。これは単に教会の外側だけのことではなく、内なる教会も同時に建て上げていくことを求める祈りです。
