Short Biography

I am Engr. Taimoor Muzaffar Gondal, currently enrolled at Edith Cowan University, Joondalup Campus, WA to study PhD in Electrical Power Systems.  I did Master of Electrical Engineering degree from COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan with the research focus on "Anomaly Detection and Load Forecasting in Short Term Electric Loads using Machine Learning Algorithms". I was able to secure a CGPA of 3.43 / 4.0 in this program. Moreover, I did my Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Wah Campus (Currently known as COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus) with the CGPA of 3.62 / 4.0. During this program I worked on the project of "Close loop speed control of three phase brushless DC motor with hall effect sensors".

Moreover, during my time at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, I have been an active member of IEEE, IEEE Power and Energy Society, and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. Also, I have  been serving as Head of the Event Management Team at IEEE Student Chapter at CIIT, Wah Campus. Due to my utmost effort in IEEE in 2016, I was awarded the "Special Dedication Award" and a Certificate for Excellence. 

Formerly I have been working as a Trainee Engineer with AL-Fajr Internation (pvt.) Ltd. NORINCO J.V  at 81 MW Malakand-III Hydel Power Complex, Dargai, KPK, Pakistan. Also, he has been serving as Plant Engineer at Hydroelectric Services Pakistan (pvt.) Ltd. Currently, he is serving at The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, The Superior College (University Campus), Lahore.
