Tim Denham, the main client presented this commission according to his researching direction. He composed this project based on problems in archeology and geology. We mainly communicate through emails and have face-to-face meetings. He also arranges meetings for us with other stakeholders, including Aleese Barron and other researchers in ANU physical school.
Aleese Barron is a PhD student of Tim Denham, whose major is applying micro-CT in archeology. She mainly presents the requirements of the whole project based on problems at hand in her doctor researching area. We have face-to-face meetings to identify problems of projects and provide solutions.
The dataset provided by Aleese Barron was collected by researchers with physics background, who achieved basic techniques and manipulated Micro-CT. They also show Micro-CT techniques in the Labatory to us. Our face-to-face meetings are arranged by Tim Danham and we discuss technical details by emails.
The archaeological automatic driller and relative machine learning algorithm can be applied in similar subjects, especially in geology. Geology researchers also provide suggestions in designing stage based on their recognition on excavated pottery sherds. We communicate through emails.
Nicolo Malagutti is the course convenor, who will assess the project in the final case show and submit our technical report to other professors to give final mark. We mainly interact with him through emails and have classes on Zoom.
Zheyu Zhuang is the project tutor, who is mainly responsible for assessing our project in three project audits. We mainly contact him through emails and have tutorials and receive assessment of project audits on Zoom.
