About the Department

Being one of the oldest departments of the college, the desk of Department of English offers B.A (both Honours and Programme) courses under CBCS curriculum, NBU. These courses entail a crucial motif to promote students vigour by encouraging their fervid engagement, meticulous speculation and intellectual potencies. Apart from this, the department has also designed multiple modes of Internal Assessment Programme which aim to enhance their abilities to brush up the analytical thinking and appreciation. Several Teaching- learning processes have been included to groom originality and critical nourishment of both teachers and students. The department is committed to attain diversity in teaching - learning process and experiments various learning methodologies to make it enthusiastic and vibrant. Lecture series, movie screening, seminars, self-presentation, dramatic performance, award-winning events are some of the wings that articulate such enterprise.
