Meet the Teacher!

I'm glad you're here. My name is Hayley Ross and the 2022 - 2023 school year will mark my 6th year of teaching. I received my Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Studies and English Language and Literature as well as my Master's degree in Education from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska (Go Broncos and Go Big Red). When I'm not teaching or coaching, I love to explore the outdoors, attend concerts, travel with my husband, and spend time with my family and two dogs, Murphy and Ollie. I am also an avid reader, reading an average of 40 books a year. I love Marvel, coffee, Harry Potter, and all things sports!

This year I will be teaching American Literature, Honors American Literature, AP Literature and Composition, and Young Adult Literature. I am also the head of Strasburg High School's English department, the assistant Girl's Basketball coach, and the head Cross Country coach.
