We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

All data collected by EnglishNativeSwitch (e.g., text inputs, audio recordings, subscription/trial data) is stored locally on your device. We do not store your data on our servers or in the cloud, except for temporary transmission to OpenAI for processing.

We implement reasonable security measures, such as encryption for data transmission to OpenAI and reliance on your device’s built-in security features (e.g., iOS encryption), to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it is retained until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Subscription and trial data (e.g., trial start/end dates) are stored in your device’s UserDefaults and are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.

Data sent to OpenAI for processing is subject to OpenAI’s retention policies, as outlined in their Privacy Policy.

6. Your Privacy Rights

As EnglishNativeSwitch stores data locally and does not require an account, you have the following options to manage your data:

• Access and Deletion: You can access or delete your data by reviewing or clearing the App’s data through your device settings (e.g., uninstalling the App or clearing app data).

• Opt-Out: Since we do not use your data for advertising or share it beyond OpenAI and Apple StoreKit, no opt-out is required for those purposes.
