English Coffee Break is a series of online workshops and lectures for English teachers. It was created in 2019 as a means of providing professional development to teachers in the south who could not or were not interested in attending courses at the local Pisga. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, more and more teachers began attending English Coffee Break sessions and in 2021, English Coffee Break was offered for the first time as a 30-hour course for gmul for those who wanted to commit to attending 15 sessions.
All of the presenters at English Coffee Break are volunteers. Some are teachers, some are counselors, some are English inspectors and some are renowned experts in the field of language learning. If you are interested in presenting, please contact me at barini@education.gov.il.
English Coffee Break is open to teachers from all over the country. Check out the schedule below to find a topic that interests you, register using the registration link, make yourself a cup of coffee and join us!
