METHODOLOGY

Every course is designed with the purpose of developing oral skills in the students. This is why the program is based on the communicative approach, which emphasizes interaction (student-student, teacher-student) as both the means and the goal of learning a language. Conversational activities, oral projects, continuous peer interaction, thinking routines, and discussions are just some of the resources used in every lesson to help the learners develop their language skills and become independent speakers.

This approach makes of learning a new language a wonderful, enjoyable experience. This is why English Lab's slogan is:

COURSES

English Booster

This is a program which focuses primarily on developing your English spoken and listening skills. We work with a communicative approach, dinamic lessons, thinking routines, games, small group talks, speeches, and more.Every lesson, you will be able to interact with other learners and the teacher in order to practice, improve, and take your English to the next level.Groups are divided by levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Each level lasts 3 months. In order to open a new course a minimum quota of 6 students must be reached.

Material used in class
Google Classroom
Individualized feedback
Free access to all the pronunciation workshops
2 lessons per week (1 hour each)
Extra activities for individual practice

Private Lessons

This program is 100% focused on your goals and your needs as a learner. You are the main character in the process. Each lesson is prepared based on whay you want to achieve and your schedule availability is always taken into account.Every lesson, you will be able to interact directly with the coach, keeping your lessons as personalized as possible.
The program includes:

Material used in class
Google Classroom (optional)
Individualized feedback
Free access to all the pronunciation workshops
As many lessons per week as needed (check costs below)
Extra activities for individual practice and improvement

Semiprivate Lessons

If you want to get the benefit of both private and group lessons, this is the right option for you. You will be part of the group lessons (2 per week) plus 1 private session with the coach every week. During the private sessions you will have the opportunity to ask questions; focus on your own needs and goals; keep track of your progress with SMART goals, among others. Although the schedule of the group lessons is already fixed, you will have the freedom to schedule the weekly private lesson in a time that best suits your agenda.
