St Vincent de Paul is a non-profit agency dedicated to preventing homelessness, fighting hunger, and changing lives. They are a catholic lay organization inspired by Gospel values. Through their Food Recovery and Distribution programs they fight against hunger across the country. They collect food from charity work through food drives and private donations. They provide food to people in need of a food supply through food pantries ,gift cards, food pantry vouchers, and financial aid for food. A donation box was made to collect canned foods on the college campus from students and staff to provide the collected food to St. Vincent de Paul food pantry of Brunswick, Ga.

The needs from St. Vincent De Paul was to help collect canned food items to help provide food to those in need over the holiday season. In order to this there was was flyers made to bring awareness for the food drive. The flyer was made to be posted publicly on the College Facebook page and the College Website. The flyers had a certain rhetorical look to persuade people to donate based on the picture and colors used in the flyer. A donation box made to collect the canned items and where placed appropriately on the college campus to be visual. The donation box was designed to catch people's attention from the design of different patterns of shapes and colors , along with words. Communication was through email and phone calls with the St. Vincent de Paul organization in Brunswick. The donated items where collected from the campus and where transported the St. Vincent de Paul building in downtown Brunswick.

Reflection:
Throughout this Project I was able to apply the skills and knowledge I have learned so far in this semester. I was able to apply the principles on the articles we studied on privilege, oppression, and making a difference by partnering with this organization. I was able to help the less fortunate through this food drive. I also learned a lot more about using rhetoric by the way I presented things and communicated in this project. I feel that this course is going to benefit me in the future through my college career and through the online work place. The skills I have learned from this project and this course will help me better communicate and represent my work in a better way.
