In English 1102, we learned about how many people face oppression and the many things they go through. While many people don't speak on the things they go through, they face things that are lifechanging. My project was based on how children dealt with oppression through things like adoption, child abuse, and disabilities. My project mainly dealt with how they face powerlessness through adoption. While I personally have not been adopted, I do know people who are adopted and I always think about the things they go through. I always listen to them because I do not want to feel like they aren't being heard. My purpose of this project is to educate people on the topic of children going through oppression everyday.
