Deeper look
Today we will be reviewing an article by CNN by authors Jacqueline Howard and Kristen Rogers titled “ US racial inequality just as deadly as COVID-19 if not more.” We will be assessing this article for Rhetorical Analysis. In this article Howard and Rodgers explain how life expectancy and demogrics are interconnected. They go into detail about how the racial inequality that leads to health disparities still remains despite the coronavirus pandemic. We will see how this article uses mind blowing statistics and Rhetorical devices to support the argument. We will also analyze the main point of the article, tone, intended audience, and purpose..At the conclusion of the review I will give my own opinions on the topic and my feelings about social injustice. I chose to analyze this podcast because social injustice and the coronavirus pandemic are two of the largest issues facing this country today and I wanted to see how they might be connected. Will I agree with the author's points? Will I be able to see the connection between the two issues? Take some time and listen to my podcast and find out these questions.
