Meet your Instructor:

I love teaching English 1A/1AS! In English 1A/1AS, we learn to create more understanding between us and communicate more effectively. This is the foundation of everything we go on to do! While this course is specifically focused on WRITING and READING skills, I sincerely hope you find that you enjoy the LIFE SKILLS we read about and practice along the way. I look forward to meeting you and working with you this term. I will do my best to support you in reaching your goals, and please don't hesitate to contact me when you need assistance!

*Note: If you are registered for ENGLISH 1A (without 1AS), please plan to spend an average of 9-12 hours per week on the course. If you are registered for 1A/1AS, you will need to budget 12-16 hours per week. Make sure there is dedicated, focused blocks of work time in your schedule to accommodate that time commitment at minimum.

*Note: If you are registered for ENGLISH 1A/1AS, you will have extra support via a tutoring and additional practice materials. Please plan to spend an average of 16 hours a week for the course.
