Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to view my page! My name is Mattie Roberts and I am a current student at the College of Coastal Georgia. The following project is for my English 1102 class. This project is a podcast I created in order to discuss the topic of gender inequality but specifically in politics. We will be discussing the past of gender inequality starting from woman’s rights movements and how they helped start the discussion on gender inequality and how gender inequality in politics has been around since the beginning. We will then talk about the ratio of male vs. female in political positions and the topic of two different views one may have when deciding a political figure. Using many scholarly articles and one report I talk about the evident lack of female representation compared to the male representation in politics. This podcast seeks to inform its audience on the gender inequality in politics they may not be aware of or know much about. Knowing about the gender inequality in politics can help open discussions and help make an awareness to balance out the field of politics. I hope you decide to tune in to my podcast to listen and gain something from my podcast. Thank you!
