Hello, my name is Meagan Clark and the following is a podcast I made to discuss the mistreatment of women in the workforce. More specifically, African American women being oppressed in the workforce. This podcast will bring to light the different types of oppression that they deal with in their daily lives. Work policies especially affect them on a daily basis, mostly when it has to deal with the hairstyles they can and cannot wear at work. During the podcast we will explore these issues through scholarly articles, and informative websites of women's personal experiences of the gender bias and mistreatment in the workforce. This podcast seeks to inform listeners to the gender inequalities and mistreatments women, but more specifically African American women(minority) deal with every single day. Knowing about these issues can help bring more light and hopefully help make a change in the world. Women have been fighting for equal rights for decades women not only need these issues to be be heard, they desperately need them changed. I hope you guys decide to join in and listen to my podcast.
