At English for Kids, your child's safety and privacy are very important to us. This application ("English for Kids: Learn & Play") is designed for children and fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation for Kids (GDPR-K), and Apple’s App Store Kids Category Guidelines.

1. Introduction

Welcome to English for Kids. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our young learners and their parents. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our mobile application.

2. Children's Privacy 

• Our application strictly prohibits behavioral tracking, profile building, or targeted re-marketing. 

• We DO NOT collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, phone numbers, or email addresses from child users.

• Parental Consent: Any external links (such as this Privacy Policy) and In-App Purchases are strictly protected by a Parental Gate to ensure they can only be accessed by adults.

3. Child-Safe Advertising (AdMob)

• We enforce the following strict configurations to protect our users:

• Child-Directed Treatment: The advertising platform is initialized with child-directed settings enabled (`setChildDirectedTreatment(true)`), which forces all mediated networks (including Google AdMob) to disable behavioral targeting completely.

• Ad Content Rating: All ad requests are strictly restricted to General Audiences (G) only. This ensures only family-friendly ads are delivered, while any mature or inappropriate creatives are blocked entirely.

4. Third-Party Infrastructure Services

We use a small selection of trusted third-party providers strictly for app performance, stability, and premium subscription fulfillment:

• Firebase Analytics: Used in a non-identifiable mode to understand application performance, errors, and crash logs. (Firebase Privacy Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/)

• Apple In-App Purchases: Used securely to process and manage premium, ad-free subscriptions and handle purchase restoration.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Our app offers auto-renewable subscriptions.

• Payment is securely processed and charged to your Apple ID / Google Play account.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

• Parents can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through their native device Account Settings.

6. Parental Involvement & Data Deletion

We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children’s digital activities. Because our application does not collect personal information, there is no risk of personal identity theft or data exposure. However, if you believe we have inadvertently received any information from a child by mistake, please contact us immediately, and we will purge it from our systems.
