👋 I'm Sarah Lisha, and I will be your online instructor for ENGL C1000: Academic Reading and Writing. I am so excited to be working with all of you this quarter!
This class does require dedication, but if you stick with it, your writing and confidence will improve. We will work together to create a community so that we can learn from each other's unique perspectives.

How This Class Works
How This Class Works
This is a 12-week hybrid course. Our first in-person meeting is Wednesday, April 8.
Our on-campus meetings are on Wednesdays; all other work is done asynchronously on Canvas.
Attendance is required. Please know that when you miss class, you miss out on important assignments. Your grade will suffer.
By Sunday of Week 1, you will be expected to log-in to our course in Canvas and complete the Orientation Module.
On Monday morning of each week, you will receive a weekly announcement with updates, so please check your email or click "Announcements" in Canvas.
Due dates are always on Wednesdays and Sundays at 11:59pm. All times are PST.
Each module contains readings and videos, a quiz, collaborative activities including discussions, and essay assignments.
