Basic Needs: The Basic Needs Office offers a range of services and resources to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. From food and housing security to financial wellness support, they are here to help you navigate college life with confidence and peace of mind.
Academic Technology Services: Offers 24/7 online and some in-person support with anything you might need from technological support to printing services.
Bob Murphy Access Center (BMAC): BMAC provides support services, auxiliary aids, and academic accommodations to students with learning differences and disabilities. If you think you might need some accommodations to be successful this semester, reach out to them ASAP! You never know how they can help you until you ask!
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS): CAPS provides support for students facing personal challenges and mental health concerns. Services offered at CAPS include short-term individual counseling, group counseling, case management and referral, psychoeducational workshops, and crisis intervention.
The Writing Center: Want extra help with your writing? The Writing Center is staffed with experienced writing tutors who can offer you suggestions and feedback! Available in-person or virtually.
Library Services: Provides students information resources, guides and tutorials, access to books, eBooks, magazines, newspapers, journals, textbooks, online databases, films, television shows, music, computers, printers, copiers, study rooms, and more.
Student Health Services: Campus health clinic for students, offering some on-campus services as well as referrals when necessary.
Dream Success Center: Provides resources for students who are undocumented or are impacted by immigration policy.
Additional Support Services: CSULB also offers students assistance through financial aid and on-campus job placement, as well as support for affinity groups such as Black students, first-gen students, international students, Latine students, LGBTQ+ students, veterans, and more.
