Entrance Examinations Accepted by RV College
For Bachelor of Engineering (BE) admission in RV College, seats are alloted by the common entrance test conducted by karnataka examination authority (KEA), common entrance test conducted by private managements association (COMED-K), JEE Main and KCET or by management.
For Master of Technology (M.Tech) seats are alloted through examinations like GATE / PGCET and for MCA (Master of Computer Application) PGCET / KMAT is considered.
For Ph.D admission in RV College, seats are alloted by merit.

For RV College of Engineerin Bangalore, undergraduate (UG) admission candidate should have passed 10+2 board exam or equivalent with minimum 50% for general category and minimum 45% for SEBC, SC & ST students. Scores of entrance tests like KEA / COMED-K / JEE Mains is also considered.

BE / B.Tech
Eligibility: Passed 12th Standard / two year Pre-University / equivalent examination. The candidate should have taken Physics and Mathematics as compulsory courses along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology / Electronics as optional courses and English as one of the languages of study. Candidates of general category should have passed the exam with an aggregate minimum of 45% marks in the optional courses, while SC, ST & OBC Category candidates 40% of marks. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology / Electronics in the Q.E., will be considered in place of Chemistry, only for the purpose of determination of eligibility.,not rank.

Admission is based on merit where 45% of the seats are alloted by the common entrance test conducted by karnataka examination authority (KEA), 30% of seats are filled through common entrance test conducted by private managements association (COMED-K) and 25% by management

Seat allotment order has to be received from KEA, COMEDK or Management office-RSST.
Report at Admission Section, RVCE, Bengaluru.
Verification of Admission order issued by respective authorities and original documents
Students should report in Industrial Engineering & Management Auditorium. Take a token for online entry and wait for your turn.
After DD submission, the candidate will be allowed entry of the application form.
Take a printout of the application form then the candidate and parent have to affix the signatures and submit all the necessary documents to admission authority.
Obtain the acknowledgement for the submitted documents from the admission authorities.
Collect the Fees paid receipt from cashier by showing the acknowledgement.

RV College of Engineering Ph.D Admission 2020
For RV College of Engineering Bangalore, Ph.D admission candidate should have good score in previous examinations. They also consider the CGPA of Bachelor’s / Master’s degree.
Ph.D
Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent from the VTU or any other University recognised by it, with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 / First class at either the Bachelor’s / the Master’s Degree in Engineering & Technology discipline.
Candidates pursuing M.Tech Degree at the University who have successfully completed the prescribed coursework in the first three semesters of study with the outstanding merit of either a minimum CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 or 70% aggregate marks and demonstrated good research aptitude shall be eligible for up-gradation to M. RV College of Engineering Hostel Details:
RV College provided infrastructure facilities which include the hostel accommodation facility also. The College provides the best comfort needed for the students. The facility provides separate hostels for boys and girls. For first-year students, accommodation is arranged in the Cauvery Block. Accommodation is available in the Annex Block for the PG students. Guest Rooms are also available in the same block.
The number of students accommodated in a room depends on the semester the student is in.

RV College of Engineering hostel has three mess facilities one for the first year and the other two for seniors.
