This week in class we explored Civil Engineering and Structures.Â
Civil Engineering is about community service, development, and improvement -- the planning, design, construction, and operation of facilities essential to modern life, ranging from transit systems to offshore structures to space satellites.
Structures are fundamental to various fields, encompassing physical, organizational, and conceptual frameworks. In architecture and engineering, structures refer to the design and construction of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure, ensuring stability and functionality.
