ENGINEERING GRAPHICS
Engineering drawings, also known as technical drawings, are a type of blueprints that communicate the information needed to manufacture a product or part. They use a standardized pictorial language of lines, shapes, and symbols to convey design concepts and intent. Engineering drawings provide details about an object's geometry, dimensions, materials, and tolerances. They can also be used to specify the geometry needed to construct a component, which is called a detail drawing. This course only deals with the fundamental concepts of manual drawings.
