ABOUT THE HUNT

This is a 3-day 2 night hunt for a Trophy Axis of your choice. The hunt will take place on a beautiful ranch outside of Barksdale. Which is located 2 hours west of San Antonio in the Nueces Canyon of the Texas Hill Country. 

Hunting in the early morning & late afternoon will primarily take place from blinds. During mid-morning/mid-day, safari-style hunting is often more productive in seeing & locating axis bucks.

This is a great opportunity to harvest a Trophy Axis Buck.

LODGING

Here at our ranch we offer our families ranch cabin for hunters/guests who want an efficiency package.

Lodging will be in our modest 2 bedroom ranch cabin with all the amenities of home. 

ITINERARY

• Day: 1

• Arrive at ranch after 12 noon, sight in your gun if needed, Hunt that evening.

• Day: 2

• Full day of hunting if needed.

• Day: 3

• Hunt morning if needed. Depart by 12 noon.

We measure the longest main beam.

Free Range Trophy Axis Buck Fee: 

Axis Bucks 500.00 plus 100.00 inch

Guide Fee:  Included

Axis Doe $450.00 each. 

Additional hunting days and non-hunting guests.

• $150.00 per extra night

• $50 per night per non-hunting guest

50% NON-REFUNDABLE - An Earnest money deposit is required for all hunts.  Hunts are booked by deposits only. A Deposit must be received for the hunting date(s) to be confirmed.
