Three Reads math protocol is a guided learning experience where students read a complex word problem three times with a different goal each time. Nardi will take this a step further and demonstrate how to “break apart” word problems and put it in a graphic organizer.

Keeping it 100%, How We Maintain 100% College Acceptance Rate for AVID Students
This session invites participants to take a journey through Chatham Central High School’s process of getting to a 100% four-year college acceptance rate for AVID Elective students annually for 14 years running! The presenters will demonstrate the systems used, from freshman year to senior year, to get all students ready to apply to college, accepted into college, and equipped with strategies for success once they get to college.
Butterfly Pavillion- STEAM through building and studying, PBL elementary focus (willing to present twice)
The Butterfly Pavilion project utilizes the engineering process and Project-Based Learning for students to plan and design a butterfly habitat inside the classroom. This integrated approach allows students to research, collaborate, and problem solve to create a butterfly habitat with living plants and butterflies.
