Hello everyone,

Starting a new course can feel overwhelming, so let’s ease into it by getting to know each other. I’ll start.

I’m Mrs. Aleksandra Emelina, but you can call me Miss Aleksandra or Miss Alexa. I grew up in Moscow, Russia, and have also lived in France and Georgia (the country, not the state).

I hold a BA in Teaching English and an MA in Translation and Interpretation (Russian, French, and English). With seven years of experience, I’ve taught a variety of students, including international ones, and I’m excited to work with you all this semester.

I enjoy traveling (25 countries so far), playing the piano, reading, sports (hitting the gym, cycling), and dressing up. I hope to hear about your interests, too!
