Energy Efficiency and sustainability are key components to good stewardship of the Earth

A brief history

Churches and non-profit organizations share the same overhead operating costs for facilities as their commercial counterparts. The issue comes with regard to where the money comes from to fund these items. If a church can reduce their operational costs, than the money that is saved can be reallocated to provide funding for the various church mission and community outreach projects. The best way to save money on costs is to become more energy efficient and sustainable. This also falls in line with the need to promote good stewardship in the church as set forth in the Bible.

Good stewardship of the earth is the key to survival

Where we are today

Feasibility study has been performed and the various paths for increase of energy efficiency have been analyzed and presented to the Board of Trustees for the church.
