Active tectonics and crustal rheology based on GNSS Seismology, such as:

  1. Using the GPS (Global Positioning System) and InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) to investigate crustal deformation near active faults and volcanoes.

  2. Modelling crustal deformation through the earthquake cycle along major fault zones.

  3. Understanding the deformation mechanisms in the Earth's lithosphere and the rheological structure.
