You want to make sure that your precious bear is healthy and in good shape, the poor bear in the picture is not healthy and in good shape. Don't fret because they're just doing surgery on this bear, the bear will be nice and thriving after the surgery is completed. But you don't want your bear to be like this, permanently, so that's why we have a care guide! Credit to TheGameMaster115 for this wash guide and also to Ikea. Combine these to make sure your bear is clean and fluffy.
I think the best way to wash a skog is to
Make a small hole in the skog.
Remove all the stuffing and put it in a safe location (like in a bin or large ziplock bag)
3. Wash the skogs skin on the lowest settings you have in your washing machine.
4. I would recommend putting him in the dryer but only for a little bit. Just enough to get him dry.
5. Put the stuffing back in and then sew the hole back up.
This is what I do, however, this will vary depending on the type of Skog and washing machine.
Machine wash, max 40°C, mild process.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dryclean.
