Green Turtle being Endangered
The Green Turtle (Celonia Mydas) is the largest hard shelled sea turtle found in suptropical and temperate regions of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, and in the Mediterranean Sea. They are part of the cheloniidae family. These turtles are are important to are ocean because they regulate a variety of of organisms simply by eating them. They interest me because I have a love for sea turtles of ant kind and the findings upset me. The Green turtle is currently on the red list due to fishing gear, vessel strikes, habitat loss, and climate change. This website I will go into detail about green turtles biology, Evolution, Ecology, and conservation.
Biology I will go into detail about green turtles anatomy, physiology, and reproduction. Evolution I will go into detail about the taxonomy and green turtle evolution changes. Ecology I describe in detail about niche and 10 organisms that share the same ecosystem, and how they interact with others. The conservation page will describe distribution and population demographics, the status of this species and why it is in decline, and how they plan to protect it.
