Presenters must adhere to the following guidelines to assist you to present in the 15th International Engineering Conference, ENCON2024.
Duration of Presentation
Your presentation slot includes:
10 minutes of oral presentation assisted by PowerPoint slides.
5 minutes of questions and answers hosted by the Session Chair.
Note: The Session Chair will follow strictly, the time limit of the presentation.
Modes of Presentation
Physical Presentation: Presenters will present their papers at the conference venue (The Waterfront Hotel, Kuching).
Online Presentation via Webex link (Password: ENCON_2024): Presenters can choose to present via live video conferencing or recorded video.
Preparation of Presentation Slides
Your oral presentation must be accompanied by slides. Please prepare your slides within the allocated time, which can be a maximum of ten (10) slides, excluding the title and acknowledgment slides. This is to ensure that your oral presentation does not exceed the time limit.
Special attention must be paid to the font size (i.e., no smaller than 20 points), the choice of colour scheme for the background and text, avoiding text-heavy slides, avoiding injudicious use of object builds (animations) and slide transitions, and keeping your presentation as simple as possible to avoid hardware and software conflicts.
Uploading Your Slides
Your slide must be uploaded before the conference via the following link here (Link).
Kindly upload according to your Session and paper ID, in example 1A (001-001) .
Please refer to the latest tentative program for your session at this link.
Presenters are not allowed to use their laptop during the presentation to avoid possible technical glitches.
Reporting to the Session Chair
You should report to the Session Chair at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.
ONLINE Presentation
For those who have opted to present online, you will be allocated a slot to present your paper via live video conferencing or recorded video during the online technical sessions that will be held on 14 and 15 February 2024.

Presenters who choose to present using recorded videos will have to upload their video (maximum 10 minutes duration) before the conference at the following link according to your parallel session (see tentative schedules of the program). The host (Session Chair) will play the recorded video on behalf of the presenter. Please be on standby in case there are questions from the audience (refer tentative schedule for your session)

As for those who will be live presenting via Webex video conferencing, the time given for each oral presentation is a maximum of ten (10) minutes.
The Q&A session will be conducted immediately after each presentation. A maximum of five (5) minutes will be allocated for each Q&A session.
