Our History

Encinitas TV has been a family-owned business since the year of 1956. It was established by Del Hafford in a small space of a Hardware store on 2nd Street, Encinitas. Since then, Dick Weber followed by Rich Sylvester took ownership of this business. In 1993 Michael Lazar joined the team of Encinitas TV starting from the bottom as a delivery driver. Michael's tenacity and goal to achieve perfection helped him climb the ladder of business from installer to service manager to general manager which morphed into custom installation and WiFi protocol until he acquired the business in the year 2008, to remain the owner operator to present time.

What started as a small store and repair for televisions, continued advancing through the technology era providing excellence in audio-video systems to customers mainly in the areas of Rancho Santa Fe, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, and La Jolla.
