Here at Encephalon, we are developing the future of how we use computers. As processing power and software advances, user interfaces remain relatively stagnant. We strive to connect the user to the computer like never before. By utilizing non-invasive electromagnetic frequency spectrometers, we can read brain activity to turn typing speed into thinking speed. Write novels as fast as you can imagine them, play video games like you are watching a movie, and diagnose maladies from the comfort of your own home.
Encephalon was founded by Howard Sellek in 1999 when he developed his first advanced user input peripheral with the Sellek Eye Tracker. Sellek made it his mission to create the most advanced input peripherals in the world. Encephalon was created to better advance these aspirations by bringing on more people to facilitate the development of these technologies. Over the past five years, we have grown to a company of over a score of members. The rest of the team can be found on our staff page.
