Breaking, between the issues:
At 9:29 a.m. US-Central Time on June 20th, it was noted that Enadia has welcomed it's 300th nation into the Union. Unfortunately, the count has since dropped back down to 299. Don't despair though, we'll get there!
We here at the Enadian Morning Post would like to welcome you to our site. Below, you can see our latest issue with all of the top stories and announcements you need to start your day. Above the title is a pane where you can access our links and archives.
Have a great day Enadia!

On Saturday, the results of the first vote, held by the government, were released. The government voted strongly in favor for the new constitution. Citizens are strongly encouraged to give their approval or disapproval on our Discord, where there is an official convention channel. For the benefit of the reader, the draft and brainstorming notes have been provided here:

This story was published under news specials on that day.
A flurry of cheers rang through the central squares of capitals across Enadia as the government released a new flag which, despite some sharp differences, still contains key elements that defined the old flag, and Enadia itself, such as the official emblem depicting the Lady of Enadia and a similar color scheme. Yes, yellow, white and blue remains to fly over administrative buildings in Anthetal today; colors of hope, diversity, and liberty for a new, more prosperous year.
The change, fittingly, comes just one month before Enadia celebrates its first birthday as an independent, sovereign region in NationStates. One would be remiss if they were to not mention that the past first year under the first flag has been an eventful one, full of many changes, many nations old and new coming and going. Sometimes things changed for the better, sometimes things changed (granted, temporarily) for the worst. The region has had to endure challenges such as the turbulent Spring that bought Enadia's status into question.
However, the new flag may be just one of the changes that the region needs to move past it's first turbulent-yet-exciting year, a new era free of past worries and full of prosperity and harmony.
The flag was released late today after numerous drafts and templates were tossed around the design table. The end result? Here it is!
Since Issue V
Yes folks, Summer has begun, but unfortunately that does not mean an end to real-life cares so one can happily hang out on Enadia’s discord and play NationStates like there’s no tomorrow. For some, like our President and Minister of Education, inactivity may be due to exams; the Minister of Education herself had to suspend lectures for a time so she could rightfully focus on her exams. The President, meanwhile, has tried his best to stay on top of things like state visits and domestic matters while studying for his surgery exams.
For others, the reasons for inactivity may be a personal issue. Many people are on vacation, and still others may have to attend to family matters, as has been the case with the Minister of Culture, Green Africa.
To those who are in the middle of exams, the E.M.P. wishes you Enadians good luck! To those who are on vacation, enjoy your time away from the computer with your real-life friends and family. Last but not least, to those with more personal matters, Enadia, your family, understands...WE LOVE YOU!

Enadia successfully signed a treaty of friendship Friday with The Free Nations Region in order to establish more concrete relations. After this successful hosting, the government is planning a schedule of more state visits. One on the table is a state visit with League of Conservative Nations, which recently has been put to the side until their prime minister returns. The first session was yesterday, and now it is back in progress. The next state visit afterwards will be with Szabor, which have lately already been in talks with the Union recently about international incidents.
Yes, this issue is a couple days late, but there is a reasonable explanation. You see, this past weekend, my grandmother went into the hospital for a surgery, and I have been caught up in having to visit her and tend to her, which obviously took priority over my NationStates duties.
“Why would this be a problem Green Africa, don’t you have help?” Well, not exactly, and that is not the fault of anyone else. You see, I have pretty much been the sole writer, with my good buddy Duke (Dzeric) editing and whatnot, and Harry giving his opinions also. Anna (AlafdalEldeb) has also offered to help, but of course, I have waved it off, citing my abilities to do stuff on my own. Plus, she has duties of her own to tend to, so I chose not to bother her too much. That has kinda been my fatal flaw, my tendency that if I don’t do it myself, I have that biting feeling that it won’t be right. Kate (East Atrilli) did proof at the start, but she has been tending to another region and also real life issues, hindering her from being with us as much. And now, our other shipmate, The Capitalist Order (Theodorosa/Panther) ceased to exist this past week after a long period of inactivity. So, recently, aside from the Education Minister and President’s gracious help along the way, it has mainly been Duke and I.
However, Duke had recently stated to the staff that he hasn’t been able to attend to this as much because of real-life issues, so the main driver at the moment is me. Please do not take this as me bragging; I dreaded the moment when I would say all of this because I knew there were other members of the group that deserved the credit, no matter how small or large their contribution was. For some (like me), it was large; for others, like Theo, it might have been in the form of a passing comment and unfortunately never being heard from again. This is the reason why you don’t see authors on the articles. I never wanted to take all the credit.
To be honest, it is not just my grandmother; I am, quite frankly, just burnt out on this thing and, yes, have been procrastinating a bit. “Gee, I’m sorry, how can I help?” Well, if you are interested in journalism and have nothing else to do, you can apply for a job directly in the forums:
