This section describes the details of how page translations are carried out in the system
Creating a page
Whenever an action is performed (creating/editing a page) within the subset defined in one of the "Sync Rules" configurations, the process of automatic translation for that page is triggered
Translation generation
The translation process takes approximately 5 seconds. After this time, all updates will also be available in the translation section
Observing the translation
If there are relative links to other pages within the translated subset, they will be automatically resolved in the translation space
Since the pages are created physically, they are indexed and available for search through Confluence's standard search tools after a few more seconds
Conditions
If the "Mode" in the "Sync Rules" configuration is set to "Manual," then automatic translation and page updates are not expected in this mode
To translate a page that corresponds to such a rule, you need to go to the page, click "More Actions", and choose "Translate Page"
The content of manually translated pages is identical to that of automatically translated pages
A popup window will appear,
and the translation process will begin
Wait a few seconds, and if everything was successful, a link will appear showing
where the page has been published
If the selected page does not match
any of the configured "Sync Rules",
a corresponding message will be displayed
