This is for your information, and those who will have e-posters will be alerted about the exact procedure closer to the meeting.
The poster session is planned for the afternoon of Day 1, starting with the oral micro-presentations. You will be given one or a few minutes to highlight your e-Poster. Please note that the poster oral micro-presentation will be live where your audience is the conference participants.
The e-Poster board will include a collection of poster "tiles", one per poster. Some examples are shown here.
The material that you submit will thus be organized into tiles each with the researcher's name and affiliation, poster topic, the graphical abstract of the poster plus the link to the poster itself (also the researcher's photo and link to their video poster presentation, if provided). You can enhance your poster with external links where you can show extra material, such as published manuscripts, MD videos, workflows, etc.
Each poster presenter will have a separate Zoom breakout room prepared by the conference organizers. The poster presenters should be available to answer questions and discuss their results with other conference participants in their exclusive breakout room.
More information will follow by email closer to the presentation date.
Since we are using the Zoom webinar feature, most of the conference attendees will automatically have their microphones and video disabled, unless the webinar hosts give them permission to talk. The participants can signal the webinar hosts that they wish to speak by pressing the "Raise Hand" button located at the bottom of the Zoom app window. The host will then be able to request the participant's audio. Therefore, the participants who will be presenting their posters should press the "Raise Hand" button so that they can be unmuted when it is their time to speak. They will then get a notification that asks whether they accept the request for their audio.
We will send out an email with the order in which the participants will present.
First register please. Then submit your material by following this link on 1 June at the latest!
The poster session consists of:
(i) the material that you have submitted +
(ii) an oral micro-presentation (if you register for this) +
(iii) the individual discussions of your poster.
We suggest that you prepare a poster with A0 dimensions (portrait or landscape), but you are free to prepare in any size you want.
The graphical abstract will be seen on the e-Poster board and can contain an important image of the results or a short summary of key points.
The short video can contain a brief presentation of your poster, and it will be available even after the conference date.
