*Mental Health Crisis Text Line: Text 741741 from anywhere in the US to text with a trained Crisis Counselor. (This organization is a resource that many youth and adults report using and feeling helped. People who volunteer for CT recieve 30 hours of training before they start, and they volunteer several hours a month. A person can text about anything they are struggling with, and the volunteers are there and provide supportive interactions. Even though it is called Crisis Text ,the texter does not have to have an imminent crisis; they get all sorts of people seeking support for things like eating issues, problems with peers, and just people dealing with hard emotions).

*Better Help: This is a service that matches you with online counselors

*Boys Town National Hotline: Call 1-800-448-3000. 24- hour, free confidential hotline staffed by trained cousnelors for boys and girls to receive help with bullying, anger, abuse, depression, school issues and more

*211.org: a free and confidential national hotline that connects callers with resources and support in their area.

*WCCMH: Call 734-544-3050 for 24/7/ Access / Crisis Department Support


Wayne-Westland Specific Resources:

*Beaumont Adams Child & Adolescent Health Center: Call 734-728-2423. Located at Adams Middle School. This is a school based health center that proides physical and mental health services. They are open to any student attending Wayne-Westland Community Schools. They are currently providing in-person and telehealth services. It is free.

*Hegira Health, Inc: Call 734-793-5026. Offers live telehealth services. Phones are answered 24/7. Licensed clinicians are available immediately. Most insurances and managed care programs are accepted. A sliding fee scale is available for those who are uninsured. Accepting new patients and most appointments are available over phone oer video conferencing.

*Western Wayne Family Health Centers: Call 313-561-5100. Offering medical and behavioral health services, including telepsychiatric services. They have locations in Inkster, Taylor and Lincoln Park.

*Starfish Family Services: Call 888-355-5433. Able to provide telecounseling for behavioral health services. Services are provided for the well being of the whole family. Assists children struggling with developmental, intellectural, emotional, and social challenges.

*New Oakland Family Health Centers: Call 1-800-395-3223 (FACE). Open for Face to Face (PHP program) and outpatient services. In addition telephone and televideo psychiatric and therapy services available. 24-hour crisis stabilization, psychological testing, IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) available.

*The Guidance Center: Call 734-785-7700. After Hours Call: 888-711-5465. Mental health services for both children and adults. Early childhood resources, intellectual and developmental disability assistance and services. Kids- TALK Children's Advocacy Center.
