This Privacy Policy explains how MindAssets handles information when you use the application, particularly its Geo Camera feature.
MindAssets requests access to the following device features when you use Geo Camera:
Camera permission is required to capture photographs.
The camera is accessed only when you choose to use the Geo Camera feature and take a photograph.
Location permission is required to obtain the device's location for the photograph.
The app may access:
Latitude
Longitude
Precise location
The location information is used to add geographic information to the captured photograph.
MindAssets may convert the obtained latitude and longitude into a readable address using the device's available geocoding service.
The address is used to display location information on the photograph.
The current date and time are used to add a timestamp to the captured photograph.
The information accessed by MindAssets is used only to provide the Geo Camera functionality.
Specifically, the app uses the information to:
Capture photographs
Obtain the location associated with a photograph
Add latitude and longitude to the photograph
Add the corresponding address to the photograph
Add the date and time to the photograph
The information is processed as part of creating the final photograph with the location and timestamp information.
MindAssets does not operate its own database or backend server for the Geo Camera feature.
Photos and location information are processed locally on your device for the purpose of creating the Geo Camera photograph.
MindAssets does not upload your captured photographs or location information to a Mindpik Technologies Pvt Ltd server.
MindAssets does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
MindAssets does not share your captured photographs or location information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
The application does not intentionally transmit captured photographs or location information to a Mindpik Technologies Pvt Ltd database or server.
MindAssets does not use your camera or location information for advertising or user tracking.
The application does not use the information collected through the Geo Camera feature to build advertising profiles.
Before using Geo Camera, MindAssets requests the permissions required for the feature:
Camera
Required to capture photographs.
Location
Required to add latitude, longitude, and address to the photograph.
You can allow or deny these permissions through your device.
You can also manage or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.
If the required permissions are denied, the Geo Camera feature may not function.
Storage (Android 8/9)
Required on Android 8 and Android 9 to save and access photographs in the device's shared Pictures/MindAssets folder. On Android 10 and later, MindAssets uses the Android MediaStore system to save and access photographs and does not require general storage permission for this purpose. You can allow or deny these permissions through your device. You can also manage or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings. If the required permissions are denied, the Geo Camera feature may not function.
MindAssets does not maintain a remote database containing your photographs or location information.
Any photograph created by the application that is saved on your device is subject to your device's own storage and management controls.
You can manage or delete photographs through the normal file/photo management features of your device.
Because MindAssets does not upload Geo Camera photographs or location information to a Mindpik Technologies Pvt Ltd server, the company does not maintain a remote database of this information.
We nevertheless recommend using the security features provided by your device to protect photographs and other information stored locally on your device.
MindAssets does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote database or server.
The Geo Camera feature is designed to provide photo and location functionality on the user's device.
Mindpik Technologies Pvt Ltd may update this Privacy Policy when the application, its functionality, or applicable requirements change.
