Who qualifies for membership in the EMS Junior Beta Club?
Junior Beta is comprised of upcoming 7th and 8th grade students with an 88 or above in each core class on a quarterly basis who also exemplify strong character and maintain superb behavior throughout the school year.
Students must have an 88 or above in each core class for TWO CONSECUTIVE quarters within a school year to qualify.
Students who meet these requirements are eligible to apply for membership in the Ellis Junior Beta Club.
What are the requirements of membership?
-88 or above in each core class for two consecutive quarters within a school year
-Attend monthly meetings
-Complete 12 service hours per semester
-Maintain an 88 or above in each core class each quarter
-Adhere to National Beta Club constitution and EMS requirements/expectations
-Pay $60 fee (checks can be made to Ellis Middle School)
Fee includes a $25 one-time induction fee for National Beta Club and a $35 annual local club fee (includes t-shirt).

How do I apply for membership?
Students interested in joining Beta will submit an online application once recruitment starts. Listen for announcements!
