Admission to the Eklavya Vidyalaya is done through the entrance examination conducted by the Chhattishgarh Board of Secondary Education, Balrampur for admission to class 6 only. Admission notification is published in the leading local daily normally in the month of September every year. Forms for the entrance examination can be taken either from the school itself or can be downloaded from the school website. The entrance examination is conducted in the month of February and a merit list of successful students is placed at the school notice board and school website. Successful students are called and followed up by post for admission formalities and new session begins by the month of April or latest by July.
