The IEEE EM-RITE workshop focuses on advancing the field of natural language processing (NLP) through the exploration of inference tasks such as textual entailment, paraphrasing, and contradiction detection in text. This workshop invites original, high-quality research contributions that utilize empirical methods to recognize inference in textual data. We also encourage multidisciplinary research that bridges gaps between theoretical research and practical applications in natural language processing and related fields.

Authors are invited to submit a paper up to 6 pages (in English) in double-column IEEE format following the submission guidelines available on the IEEE IRI 2026 web page. Papers must be original and not submitted to or accepted by any other conference or journal.
