About Me
Dr. Mazin M. Mustafa earned his B.Sc. from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, in 2010, followed by a M.Sc. from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, in 2015, and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, in 2019, all in Electrical Engineering. From 2019 to 2021, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Green Lab, Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering, Texas A&M University, where he focused on RF heating applications for industrial material science processes. Between 2021 and 2023, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the REFTAS research group, Oklahoma State University, studying EMC/EMI problems in cable harnesses within electromagnetic reverberant environments. Dr. Mustafa is currently an RF Coil Electromagnetic Modeler at the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, Department of Radiology, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His current research focuses on RF coil safety for Ultrahigh-Field MRI systems. His broader research interests span electromagnetic fields, computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic compatibility, and RF circuit applications.
