Welcome to my personal website. Here you can get to know more about me as a graduate student, and you can follow updates about my research and teaching. I use this website as a digital portfolio to showcase my work, and a personal blog to share my experiences and opinions on the topics that I am interested in.
Who am I?
My full name is Ahmet Emre Keser [ˈaː.mɛt ˈɛm.re ˈke.ser], but I prefer to be called Emre [ˈɛm.re] by my colleagues, friends, and professors. I am a PhD student in the Linguistics program at the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, GA, and I expect to graduate in May 2029. I am mainly intrested in generative syntax, morphology, and psycho/neurolinguistic methods to see how human brain process language and how (or if) linguistic theories can be observed via experimental methods.
I serve as a graduate research assistant (GRA) in the Building Rehabilitation Advances in Neurosciences (BRAIN) and Aphasia and Related Conditions (ARC) Labs in the Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education at the UGA. In addition to my GRA role, I serve as a graduate teaching assistant (GTA) in the Department of English and teach English Composition courses in the First-Year Writing program at the UGA.
