Dr. Patel has diverse professional experience in the public health field. She has worked with industry, foundation, small business, and academia both in United States and India. She brings years of public health experience that includes empirically sound needs assessment, survey and research methods, program planning, impact assessment, literature reviewing, predictive modeling, big data analytics, and scientific published work. Dr. Patel has provided R&D support to National Science Foundation funded CHOT center University of Louisville clients. She has also made noteworthy original scientific contributions of significance and contributed in informing Kentucky state COVID-19 social distancing policies as well as state Medicaid policies. Her work has been cited by international researchers from more than 30 countries and has collaborated with top multidisciplinary researchers worldwide. She has published CSR activities relevant scholarly work in academic journals and is well known outside academia through major media publications in India and United States.
