The European Meeting for PhD students in Evolutionary Biology (EMPSEB) is an annual conference organised for, and by, doctoral students. It is in many ways a unique meeting, with equal emphasis on providing a platform for students to learn from each other, and on fostering a sense of community.
The 30th edition of EMPSEB will take place from 2-6 June 2025 in Milovy, Czechia. Even when you are not listening to talks by our plenary speakers and other participants, there will be much to see and do -- from natural history-focused excursions led by knowledgeable biologists, to the more tame setting of the hotel sauna. Join us!
