First month, I started and formed our group. After we did that we all sent different ideas on what topic we should work on for our project. We had first voted on a problem statement . We evantually came up with "Provide electricity to rural areas without access to power." The next day we had presented our problem statement to the class. We started a google site and chose our role and gave a good explanation on what we are supposed to do. After that we had came up with problems for our specifications .
Second month, we came up with research questions to solve. solved and discussed how to do them. We had all agreed on which ones to use. We also came up with survey questions so we can put a flyer around the town so people could take it and help us with our project.
Third month, we had then saw the market rubric. we had still haven't finished our research questions so we still had to work on that. Back to the survey form, we had finally got that done and I made a QR code so people can scan it. After that, we had researched our much watts refridgators use and got a math equation to help us figure out how much watts houses use.
Fourth month, we research to get phone numbers from rural areas and ask them how much watts their houses use and how much they need. We had then studied the components of renewable energy structure. We had started contacting mentors to review our project . While we waited for his response , we took face pictures to update our google site. The mentor had grades our project and we got a decent scored. He said he liked my introduction.
Fifth month, we researched on how much electricity rural areas have and how much they need and want. This gave us a better idea on what to provide the rural areas. After this we created a nice sample to call new mentors. This will not help us stutter when we're on the phone with new mentor. Calling new mentors could be a little scary but I was confident. We had then researched how electricity gets to everyone. We also started listening the parts we'll need for our product. We researched each part and how much it'll cost.
Sixth month (current month), after we figures out how much each part would be for our product, we had to make a business letter so we can send it to companies so they can help fund our projects. We got the business letter done and we're researching on which companies to send it to. We had also started sketching our product. We all needed 10 sketches each and we're all still currently working on it. Today i just did some more research. I reviewed my partner sketches. I also was researching on what companies to send the business letter to.
This is a new month. So far i've been checkinng on my group to make sure their on task. I've been updating the site and making sure everything is where it's supposed to be. I fixed our business letter & our mentor feedback. All I did today was send emails trying to get companies to fund us. Today I read emails and sent emails to companies. I checked my emails to see if any companies got back to me. I also got some numbers to call but i had no sucesss. It sent me to an AI assistant,
