Welcome to EmoVault, a personal emotional space designed to help you write, process, and store messages you are not ready to send yet. By using this application, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

1. Purpose of the App

EmoVault is designed as a private, local, and personal emotional journal.

The App allows you to:

• Write and store drafts

• Record emotional notes 

• Reflect on your thoughts

• Organize emotional content

• Optionally send messages through external services such as WhatsApp or Email

EmoVault does not provide messaging services of its own and does not transmit or sync your content to any server.

2. Data Privacy & Access

EmoVault follows a strict local‑only privacy model.

No personal data is collected, uploaded, synced, or shared with the developer or any third party.

To enable its features, the App may request the following optional permissions:

• Contacts (optional)

Used only locally to allow you to select a recipient when sending a message.

Contacts are:

• Not uploaded

• Not stored

• Not shared

• Never leave your device

• Microphone (optional)

Used only when you choose to record an emotional audio note.

• Audio recordings are stored locally

• They are never uploaded or shared

• The developer has no access to them

• Notifications (optional)

Used only to send gentle reminders encouraging emotional check‑ins (“emotional unload reminders”).

• No personal data is used to generate notifications

• You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings

• Biometric Authentication / Passcode (optional)

Used only to lock the app and protect your content.

No biometric data is collected or transmitted.

3. Data Storage & Deletion

All content inside EmoVault — text, drafts, notes, and recordings — is stored locally on your device only.

The App does not:

• Sync data to the cloud

• Back up your content externally

• Access files outside the App

• Share your data with any service

Automatic Deletion After Sending

When you choose to send a message through an external app:

• EmoVault passes the text to the external app

• EmoVault does not track or store what you send

• After you confirm the sending action, the original message inside EmoVault is automatically deleted from your device

This ensures your emotional content remains private and temporary unless you choose otherwise.

User‑Controlled Deletion

You may delete any content at any time.

Since all data is stored locally:

• Only you control deletion

• No one (including the developer) can restore or access deleted data

If you uninstall the App or reset your device, all data is permanently lost.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• The content you write or record inside the App

• Any message you choose to send through external applications

• Ensuring that your use of the App complies with local laws and regulations

EmoVault acts only as a local storage tool and has no control over external services such as WhatsApp, Email, or any other platform you choose to use.

5. Security

EmoVault provides optional security features such as:

• App Lock

• Biometric authentication

• Passcode protection

However, you are responsible for:

• Securing your device

• Managing your passcode

• Preventing unauthorized access

The developer cannot guarantee protection if your device is compromised.

6. No Warranties

EmoVault is provided “AS IS”, without any warranties, guarantees, or promises of performance.

We do not guarantee:

• That the App will always function without errors

• That your data will never be lost due to device failure

• That the App will meet your emotional or personal needs

You use the App at your own discretion and risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be held liable for:

• Data loss

• Emotional impact

• Misuse of content

• Device malfunction

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your use of EmoVault signifies your understanding and acceptance of these limitations.

8. Advertisements and Third‑Party Services (AdMob)

The application may display advertisements through Google AdMob.

This service may collect basic technical information for the purpose of delivering ads, such as:

• Device type

• Operating system version

• Anonymous advertising identifier (Advertising ID)

• Interaction with advertisements

EmoVault does not collect, store, or process this information, and the developer has no access to it.

All data processing is performed by Google in accordance with their privacy policies.

Users can manage or disable personalized ads through their device settings.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By continuing to use EmoVault, you confirm that:
