Forever a student of wonder and feeling, singer-songwriter / producer Brian Lenington, a.k.a. EMOTIONA, embraced moments of isolation in 2020 and began to tell his story on YouTube. Dubbed "The EMOTIONA Project", the videos were a deep dive into his creative process and Melodic Bass signature, along with a detailed look at how he reimagined three of his younger influences: Nirvana, ODESZA, and Florence & The Machine.

An unofficial remix of Tate McCrae's "You Broke Me First" followed and heading into 2021, EMOTIONA announced his first original song "Goodbye To The Year" - an electronic anthem inspired by Porter Robinson and ILLENIUM.
