This Privacy Policy explains how Emoji Battery Icon Custom (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.

Emoji Battery Icon Custom is an Android personalization application that allows users to customize the appearance of battery icons and related visual elements on their devices.

By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require users to create an account or directly provide personal information to use its main features.

However, the App uses advertising, Firebase, and analytics services that may automatically collect limited technical and usage information.

1.1 Device and Technical Information

The App and its third-party service providers may collect or process information such as:

• Device model and manufacturer;

• Android operating system version;

• App version;

• Device language and general regional settings;

• IP address;

• Advertising ID;

• App installation identifier;

• Network connection information;

• App performance information;

• Crash and diagnostic information; and

• Other technical identifiers permitted by Android.

This information is used to operate the App, provide advertisements, analyze performance, prevent fraud, and identify technical problems.

1.2 App Activity and Analytics Information

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the App.

Information processed for analytics may include:

• App launches;

• Session duration;

• Screens or features viewed;

• Button and feature interactions;

• Selected customization options;

• General engagement information;

• App version;

• Device type;

• Installation source;

• Approximate region;

• Analytics identifiers; and

• Other app usage events.

This information helps us understand which features are used, improve the App, fix usability issues, and measure the effectiveness of App updates.

Analytics information is not intended to directly identify users by name.

1.3 Advertising Information

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob.

Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect or process information such as:

• Advertising ID;

• Device identifiers;

• Device and operating system information;

• General or approximate location derived from an IP address;

• Advertisement impressions;

• Advertisement clicks and interactions;

• App usage information;

• Diagnostic information; and

Depending on your location, device settings, age status, and consent choices, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.

We do not use information accessed through the Android Accessibility Service for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing purposes.

2. Accessibility Service

Emoji Battery Icon Custom uses the Android Accessibility Service to provide its core personalization functionality.

The Accessibility Service allows the App to display and maintain the battery icon customization selected by the user while the user interacts with the Android device.

The Accessibility Service is used only for the following purposes:

• Displaying the customized battery icon selected by the user;

• Updating the customized icon according to the current battery status;

• Maintaining the selected visual customization while the user uses the device; and

• Supporting the App’s disclosed personalization features.

Although Android Accessibility Service APIs may technically provide access to certain interface events or on-screen information, Emoji Battery Icon Custom does not use the service to collect, store, transmit, or share the content displayed in other apps.

The App does not use the Accessibility Service to:

• Read or collect passwords;

• Monitor or record keyboard input;

• Collect messages, emails, contacts, or call logs;

• Collect notification content;

• Collect browsing history;

• Read banking, financial, or payment information;

• Collect authentication codes;

• Take screenshots or record the screen;

• Monitor activities in other applications;

• Make purchases or financial transactions;

• Change settings unrelated to the App’s disclosed functionality;

• Automatically perform actions without the user’s knowledge;

• Prevent users from disabling or uninstalling the App;

• Circumvent Android privacy or security protections; or

• Collect information for advertising, analytics, or user profiling.

Information temporarily accessed by the Accessibility Service is processed locally on the user’s device only for the purpose of providing the selected battery icon customization.

Such information is not uploaded to our servers, Firebase, Google Analytics, Google AdMob, or other third parties.

Enabling the Accessibility Service is optional. However, the App’s main battery icon customization feature may not function unless the user enables the service.

Users can disable the Accessibility Service at any time through their Android device settings. The exact menu may vary by device, but it can generally be found under:

Settings → Accessibility → Installed Apps or Downloaded Apps → Emoji Battery Icon Custom → Off

3. Battery Information

To provide its battery icon customization features, the App may access or process limited battery and device status information, including:

• Current battery percentage;

• Charging or discharging status;

• Whether the device is connected to a power source; and

• Changes in battery status.

This information is used only to update and display the battery customization selected by the user.

Battery status information is processed locally on the device and is not used to identify users.

4. Firebase Services

The App uses Firebase services provided by Google.

Firebase may process limited technical and usage information, including:

• App installation identifiers;

• Device information;

• App version;

• App usage events;

• Analytics events;

• IP address;

• General location information;

• Performance information; and

• Diagnostic information.

Firebase information is used to:

• Measure App usage;

• Understand feature engagement;

• Analyze App performance;

• Identify technical issues;

• Improve functionality and user experience; and

• Maintain the stability and security of the App.

Firebase processes information according to Google’s applicable privacy terms and data-processing practices.

5. How We Use Information

Information collected through the App or its third-party services may be used to:

6.1 Google AdMob

6.2 Google Firebase and Analytics

Google Firebase and Google Analytics for Firebase may process app activity, installation identifiers, device information, analytics events, and diagnostic information to provide analytics and technical services.

6.3 Legal and Safety Requirements

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or valid governmental requests;

• Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations;

• Protect the rights, property, and safety of users, the public, or the App developer; or

• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not share content accessed through the Accessibility Service with advertisers, analytics providers, Firebase, or other third parties.

7. Local Data Storage

The App may store certain information locally on the user’s device, including:

• Selected battery icon;

• Theme or design preferences;

• App settings;

• Onboarding status; and

• Other customization preferences.

Locally stored information remains on the device unless the user:

• Clears the App’s storage;

• Resets the App;

• Changes the relevant settings; or

• Uninstalls the App.

We do not provide an online account or cloud synchronization service for these locally stored preferences.

8. Data Retention

Locally stored customization settings remain on the user’s device until the user clears the App’s data or uninstalls the App.

Information processed by Google AdMob, Firebase, and Google Analytics may be retained according to Google’s applicable retention settings, legal requirements, and privacy policies.

Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain business records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Aggregated or anonymized information that can no longer reasonably identify a user may be retained for analytical and statistical purposes.

9. User Choices and Controls

Users may control certain data practices through the App, Android device settings, Google settings, or consent options provided within the App.

Users may:

• Enable or disable the Accessibility Service;

• Reset or delete the Android advertising identifier where supported;

• Manage personalized advertisement settings;

• Decline personalized advertising where consent controls are available;

• Clear the App’s cache or stored data;

• Restrict background activity through device settings; or

• Uninstall the App.

Disabling the Accessibility Service may prevent the App’s main personalization functionality from working.

10. Data Deletion

The App does not require users to create an account and does not maintain a user account database.

Users may delete locally stored App data by:

• Opening Android Settings;

• Selecting Apps;

• Selecting Emoji Battery Icon Custom;

• Selecting Storage;

• Selecting Clear Data or Clear Storage; or

• Uninstalling the App.

Users may also disable the Accessibility Service through Android Accessibility Settings.

Because analytics and advertising information may be associated with anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers rather than a name or email address, we may not be able to identify specific analytics or advertising records belonging to an individual user.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Information transmitted by third-party services is generally protected using secure transmission methods such as HTTPS where supported.

However, no mobile application, storage system, or electronic transmission method is completely secure. Therefore, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their Android devices and Google accounts.

12. International Data Processing

Google and other service providers used by the App may process information in countries other than the country in which the user resides.

These countries may have privacy and data-protection laws that differ from those in the user’s jurisdiction.

Third-party providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards as required under applicable laws.

13. Children’s Privacy

Emoji Battery Icon Custom is a general-audience personalization application and is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly request or collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Advertising and analytics services may process limited device or technical information as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required, age-appropriate advertising or consent restrictions should be applied.

14. Third-Party Privacy Policies

15. No Artificial Intelligence Features

The App does not provide artificial intelligence or generative AI features.

The App does not submit user content, screen content, Accessibility Service information, or personal data to an AI model for processing.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when:

• App features change;

• New third-party services are added;

• Data-processing practices change;

• Google Play requirements change; or

• Applicable legal requirements change.

When this Privacy Policy is updated, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.

Continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy where permitted by applicable law.
