I am the Principal Investator of the HIRE Lab (Human–AI Interactions in Recruiting & Employment) which studies how AI and digital platforms are reshaping hiring, labor markets, and work. I work with a team of graduate students from BU, Harvard, and Stanford, and undergraduates from BU to use large-scale platform data and randomized experiments in the lab and field to understand search and matching in the digital age.
Current projects examine AI-assistance in hiring, matching and hiring on online labor platforms, labor market frictions and search, and how organizations respond when new AI tools are introduced into work processes.
We collaborate with industry partners and policy audiences, with the goal of producing evidence that informs the design and governance of AI-enabled labor markets.
